Another Source's client, Sabey Data Centers is recruiting a Security Supervisor to join their team in Austin, TX. This opportunity comes as a result of an internal promotion—a reflection of Sabey’s commitment to developing and advancing its people. In this highly visible role, you’ll help safeguard a mission-critical environment while strengthening the systems, partnerships, and security practices that protect Sabey’s people, customers, and operations. 

The standard work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some flexibility based on business and training needs. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, and this role serves as an after-hours point of contact for security-related issues.

About This Role 

As Security Supervisor, you will help lead the day-to-day physical security operation supporting Sabey’s Austin data center environment. You’ll oversee contracted security services, help ensure physical security systems operate effectively, and drive consistent execution of site security standards, procedures, training, and customer requirements. 

Working closely with Operations leadership, physical security and systems teams, and vendor partners, you’ll have the opportunity to identify and close security gaps, respond to incidents, support audits and risk assessments, and continuously improve how security services are delivered. This role is well suited for a security professional who can combine sound judgment and operational discipline with strong relationship-building skills in a high-security, mission-critical environment. 

Your Contribution Will Likely Include 

• Overseeing contracted security services and ensuring alignment with post orders, SOPs, customer requirements, and Sabey standards. 

• Delivering and tracking site-specific security officer training covering access control, incident response, emergency procedures, and customer requirements. 

• Conducting officer knowledge assessments and coordinating corrective training when gaps are identified. 

• Reviewing the ticket management system to ensure requests are completed accurately and closed in a timely manner. 

• Creating and delivering monthly security reports requested by customers. 

• Overseeing daily operation and monitoring of access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and visitor management platforms. 

• Serving as a first-line responder for physical security incidents, conducting investigations, documenting findings, and escalating appropriately. 

• Completing physical security program audits, inspections, and monitoring activities in alignment with Sabey standards. 

• Conducting site-level risk assessments and implementing approved mitigation strategies. 

• Partnering with the Security Systems Engineer on system maintenance, upgrades, testing, and security-system incident response. 

• Maintaining accurate security documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, access reviews, audit findings, and corrective actions. 

• Supporting emergency preparedness equipment checks and execution of emergency action plans. 

• Leveraging automation and AI-enabled tools to strengthen reporting, documentation, training tracking, and operational efficiency. 

• Reinforcing Sabey’s core values and security culture while building strong relationships across the organization and with external partners. 

Experience You Will Bring 

• Associate degree or a related combination of education and experience. 

• Physical security or mission-critical environment experience, with leadership, supervisory, or team oversight experience preferred. 

• Experience with access control, CCTV, and physical security technologies preferred. 

• Demonstrated experience supporting audits, incident investigations, and risk management. 

• Strong leadership, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-security environment. 

• Ability to respond efficiently and effectively during emergency and crisis situations. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships across teams, leadership levels, customers, and business partners. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and security platforms. 

• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and vendor partners. 

• Commitment to continuous improvement, training, and professional development. 

• Aptitude and willingness to learn and apply automation and AI-enabled tools to improve team performance and security operations. 

• Ability to respond to security systems issues outside standard working hours as needed.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $54,987 - $82,480.
