We are looking for a Security Programs Investment Lead to join the Microsoft Security GTM Strategy team. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, sales execution, and investment management, leading a portfolio of strategic programs that help accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft Security solutions. The successful candidate will own the strategy, governance, and performance insights for investments including ECIF, Azure Consumption Offers (ACO), Deployment Vouchers, and other acceleration programs, ensuring investments are directed toward the highest-impact opportunities.

This individual will partner closely with Finance, field leadership, product teams, and sales stakeholders to evaluate investment effectiveness, optimize program outcomes, and deliver data-driven recommendations that influence business decisions. Success in this role is measured by the ability to translate investments into measurable business impact, including accelerated deal velocity, incremental revenue, increased security workload adoption, and improved program efficiency across the Security business.

A proficient analytical thinker who conducts market and financial research and turn findings into go-to-market insights and recommendations. Strengths in business and data analysis, project and stakeholder management, negotiation, influencing, and clear communication is a must.

Responsibilities

• Investment Portfolio Strategy & Governance - Own the strategy, governance, and execution of Microsoft Security investment programs including ECIF, ACO Deployment Vouchers, OSP, and other growth investments. Drive investment allocation decisions, establish funding priorities, partner with Finance and business leaders, and ensure investments are aligned to strategic business objectives, revenue acceleration opportunities, and customer adoption goals.
• Investment Insights & Program Performance - Lead business reporting, KPI development, and performance analysis across Security investment and acceleration programs. Measure investment utilization, pipeline influence, revenue impact, and workload adoption trends, delivering executive-ready insights and recommendations that optimize program effectiveness, offering efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Sales Insights, Readiness, and Activation – Partners with business, platform, and tools experts and stakeholders to report key metrics, resolve escalations, and maintain the tools catalogue—providing market insights, measuring success, communicating business updates to field sales across regions, and sharing best practices to drive the sales business forward.
• Sales Landing – Contributes to sales landing strategies across planning activities and drives product consumption—partnering with Field and Corporate leaders, integrating change management from senior stakeholders, and remaining accountable for delivering business outcomes while providing feedback to the product team for continuous improvement.
• Sales Market Research and Analysis – Conducts market research and analyses by collecting and interpreting information—researching existing business and new opportunity spaces to validate ideas and inform Field Sales and Partner strategies—and helps structure the initial framing of strategic questions with guidance from senior colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.

Additional or preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
