Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Inspection Driver Clearance Required in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
