Job Description

As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access, observe facility rules, and report maintenance, fire, and/or security-related issues.
• Support daily operations by completing logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, while helping to deter disruptions and/or unauthorized activity across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
