As a Security Guard Utility Center Patrol in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
