Job Description

Performs diverse departmental office/clerical duties.

Job Responsibility

• * Performs diversified office/clerical duties including, but are not limited to:
  • Typing various correspondence, reports, and articles.
  • Taking dictation and minutes.
  • Transcribing.
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Maintaining files.
  • Receptionist duties.
  • Making, taking, screening and recording messages and telephone calls.
  • Maintaining records.
  • Filing patient records, and collecting/processing payments.
  • Preparing statistical data.
  • Keeping inventory and ordering supplies.
• * Performs other non-clinical duties supporting departmental operations and administrative processes, as needed
  • Making travel arrangements.
• Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Prior secretarial experience, required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications, required.
• Ability to take dictation and minutes, and transcribe from tapes and/or Dictaphone, required.
