Seasonal Part-Time Receiving Clerk

Position Summary:

Receiving Clerks are key drivers of our store’s success, ensuring a seamless shopping experience by keeping inventory organized, accessible, and accurately tracked. From processing incoming shipments to maintaining merchandise and stock areas, this role directly impacts inventory integrity and satisfaction for all Century21 NYC guests and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments and unpack delivered racks and pallets.

• Transfer inventory efficiently from deliveries to the sales floor, maintain organized back-stock areas, and assist team members with cleanup and recovery.

• Sort hangers and security hard tags from checkout stations and ensure merchandise is correctly allocated.

• Reticket and process merchandise, remove and dispose of packaging, and operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.

• Complete daily requests and tasks efficiently in accordance with leadership guidance and stock room/receiving guidelines.

• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work and guest-facing areas to uphold brand standards.

• Strictly adhere to established operational routines and procedures to ensure high quality, safety and accuracy across all tasks.

• Execute additional duties and special projects as required to support overall store operations.

SCHEDULE:

Work schedule is dependent on trucking and delivery schedule.

WAGE:

$18/hr

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, crouch, stoop, reach, and lift cases and fixtures up to 30 lbs. for the duration of their shift. Furthermore, the employee is required to work outdoors for significant time of their shift loading and unloading. The employee is required to see and use electronic equipment including hand-held and office hardware.
