Job Overview

The holiday entertainer’s primary responsibility is to engage and perform in character for our customers, in an inviting environment for the holiday season. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices
• Be knowledgeable of environment
• Effectively deal with multiple customers
• Communicate customer requests & concerns to manager on duty
• Follow food safety standards and maintain work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with Food Division and Health Department standards
• Dress in costume to entertain customers while following guidelines as set by manager

Qualifications and Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
