Seasonal Concessions Coordinator - Fall Season
Position Summary
The Seasonal Concessions Coordinator oversees Walsh Jesuit Athletics concession operations during the Fall athletic season (August–October). Working with the Athletics Department, food service provider, and team/booster representatives, the coordinator ensures concession stands are appropriately staffed, stocked, organized, and prepared for designated home athletic events.
This is a seasonal, event-based position, with most responsibilities occurring during weekday evenings, along with occasional Saturday afternoon or evening events.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee concession operations at designated Fall athletic events.
- Coordinate with team/booster liaisons to recruit and schedule parent volunteers.
- Work with the Walsh Jesuit food service provider (AVI) to order food, beverages, and necessary supplies.
- Ensure concession stands are stocked, organized, clean, and ready before each event.
- Train and assist volunteers with concession procedures, equipment, food service, and cash handling.
- Manage cash bags, deposits, and financial reconciliation with the Athletic/Business Office.
- Monitor inventory and prepare concession stands for upcoming events.
- Assist with additional tournaments, postseason contests, or major events as assigned by the Athletics Department.
Fall Event Schedule – August through October
The coordinator will primarily oversee concessions for the following designated events:
Football – 7 Home Games
- Friday, August 28
- Friday, September 4
- Friday, September 11
- Friday, September 25
- Friday, October 2
- Friday, October 9
- Friday, October 16
Men’s Soccer: Selected home contests – dates vary.
Women’s Soccer: Selected home contests – dates vary.
Women’s Volleyball: Selected home contests – dates vary.
Postseason/Major Events: Additional Fall tournaments, playoff contests, or major events as determined by the Athletics Department.
Schedule Expectations
The position runs from August through October and is not expected to cover every home athletic contest. The Athletics Department will identify priority concession events and provide schedules in advance whenever possible.
Most events will require evening availability, with occasional Saturday afternoon or Saturday evening responsibilities depending on tournaments and postseason competition.
