JOB OVERVIEW

Unrivaled is seeking a Seasonal Community Engagement Coordinator to help lead Unrivaled's real-time voice presence across the 2026–2027 season. The engagement is expected to begin on December 26, 2026 and continue through approximately mid-March 2027, subject to completion of the agreed scope of services. The services are expected to be performed remotely, except as otherwise agreed by the parties.

This role will lead Unrivaled’s real-time voice presence across all platforms throughout the entire season—including weekend game days, live events, and major league moments. Responsibilities will include writing platform-native captions, publishing timely content, and actively engaging with fans to build a strong, consistent community voice everywhere. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, can react quickly during live games, and understands how to maintain momentum and conversation across both platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day community engagement on Unrivaled's IG broadcast channel & Threads keeping the tone consistent, timely, and on-brand.
• Reply to and like comments across Instagram, Threads, X & Youtube fostering an active and welcoming fan community.
• Comment on posts from Unrivaled players and investors to strengthen relationships and boost visibility.
• Monitor and respond to DMs in a timely, authentic, brand-consistent voice.
• Chat live during YouTube Live game broadcasts, engaging fans in real time and keeping the conversation energetic.
• Provide live engagement coverage during weekend games, events, and key league moments across all channels.
• Track notable interactions, fan sentiment, and engagement trends throughout the season.
• Source and reshare fan-created content (edits, reactions, fan art) to Threads and Stories.
• Collaborate with the social, content, and creative teams to align on messaging and community strategy.
• Stay current on Instagram, Threads, X and YouTube platform features, fan culture, and emerging trends relevant to the league.
• Assist with monitoring automated messaging strategy and replies

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of experience in social media, digital content, or community management (internships included).
• Deep familiarity with Threads and X—both platform mechanics and cultural behavior.
• Excellent writing skills with an ability to adjust tone for conversational, witty, and real-time content.
• Comfort with live posting during games and managing rapid fan engagement.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience with social scheduling tools (Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, or similar) preferred.
• Passion for sports, entertainment and digital storytelling
