The Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and daily operations of a small out-of-school-time program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality education and care for children, aged 5 – 12 years, while maintaining compliance with licensing regulations and program policies. The Site Coordinator fosters a positive culture for children, families, and educators and leads continuous quality improvement efforts across the program.
The ideal candidate is a strong instructional and operational leader who is passionate about education, staff development, family partnerships, and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
A central office team offers essential supports to allow program leaders to focus on children, families and educators. Various members of the office team conduct interviews, handle subsidy enrollment, authorizations and billing, clerical/ secretarial tasks, etc. The regional director offers significant coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide overall leadership and direction for the early childhood program
· Develop and maintain a positive and professional workplace culture, with a focus on collaboration and accountability
· Create and facilitate continuous quality improvement initiatives and program goals
· Manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling, ratios, classroom coverage, facilities and safety standards
· Ensure program compliance with all company, state, federal and local regulations, policies, procedures and reporting requirements
· Promote staff growth, engagement, collaboration, accountability, and retention
· Ensure implementation of developmentally appropriate practices, curriculum, environment, assessment tools, and individualized learning plans aligned with program philosophy and early learning standards and best practices
· Build positive relationships with children, families, local schools and community partners
· Manage child enrollment, staffing needs, waitlist, and billing
· Maintain and ensure accuracy of records, documentation, and reporting requirements
· Model confidentiality, professionalism, ethical leadership, and effective communication

- Strong knowledge and understanding of licensing regulations and high quality assessment tools, including but not limited to APAS, SACERS, etc
- Proficiency with technology and administrative systems
Part-time or full-time position, depending on qualifications and desired schedule
Salary commensurate with education and experience

Requirements
- Meets or can meet EEC Site Coordinator qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or a related field, preferred
- 3 years prior experience working with school-aged children (5-12 years), required
- 1 year leadership and supervision experience - preferably in education
Qualifications to be an EEC site coordinator -
- At least 20 years old (as required by the state licensing agency)
- 18 months experience in management
- OR -
- An education or related Bachelor's degree and at least one year experience working with children aged 5-12 years,
- An education or related Associate's degree and at least 18 months experience working with children aged 5-12 years, or
- A high school diploma and at least two years experience working with children ages 5-12 years in a licensed program.
Little People's College was founded in 1980 by two sisters, Sandy Rego and Joyce deSousa, who were public school teachers and mothers of preschool age children. Together they developed a unique curriculum which included the skills which children would need when they entered public school. The learning begins when a child steps through the door and continues throughout the day.
Little People's College locations have been nationally accredited since 1992 and continue to pursue accreditation for the newest centers as they reach their first anniversary. There are currently 14 locations and the curriculum continues to be reviewed and updated annually to include the most current changes to local, state and national requirements.
