The opportunity

We are seeking an SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Senior Consultant/Senior Technology Analyst to join our Core Supply Chain team. In this role, you will support the design and delivery of SAP PLM solutions, working with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that newly implemented technology solutions meet their needs. Your collaboration with technical teams will be essential in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will spend your time engaging with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will face challenges that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, providing you with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This position will require regular travel to meet with clients, allowing you to build relationships and understand their needs better. Key responsibilities include:

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs for SAP S/4HANA PLM solutions.
• Support or lead defined PLM workstreams, workshops, and design sessions, documenting current-state processes, future-state requirements, decisions, and action items.
• Configure and support SAP PLM capabilities, including Document Management System (DMS), bills of materials, classification, material and product master data, product structures, specifications, and Engineering Change Management (ECM).
• Support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and PTC Windchill, including data mapping, validation rules, error handling, reconciliation, testing, and issue resolution for materials, BOMs, documents, revisions, release statuses, and engineering changes.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, master data, integration, quality, security, and other teams to align process requirements, system ownership, and end-to-end data flows.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on configurations, enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
• Develop and execute test scenarios for unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; document defects and support timely resolution.
• Assist with data validation, cutover activities, deployment readiness, production support, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Maintain clear project documentation, including process flows, functional designs, configuration records, test evidence, training materials, and support procedures.
• Track workstream deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issues; provide status updates and escalate decisions as appropriate.
• Support stakeholder readiness and user adoption through demonstrations, knowledge transfer, training, and ongoing collaboration.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members, where appropriate.
• Stay current on SAP PLM capabilities and recommend practical improvements that support product quality, compliance, traceability, engineering productivity, and time to market.

• Strong functional understanding of SAP PLM and its integration with manufacturing and supply chain processes.

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced consulting environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years of related functional experience, including exposure to the SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
• At least 2 years of experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or SAP S/4 HANA, particularly SAP Product Lifecycle Management.
• Experience supporting an SAP project or defined workstream in a manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environment.
• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration support, testing, documentation, data validation, or deployment activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client-service, and technical-writing skills.
• A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Consulting experience supporting SAP transformation programs.
• SAP certification in SAP Product Lifecycle Management, SAP Enterprise Product Development, or a related SAP solution.
• Experience with SAP PLM capabilities such as DMS, ECM, Classification, BOM management, variant configuration, product structures, product data governance, Specification Management, Recipe Development, or Product Compliance.
• Experience integrating SAP PLM processes with engineering, manufacturing, quality management, procurement, supply chain, and external product development systems.
• Experience integrating SAP PLM with PTC Windchill or other product development and engineering systems.
• Experience supporting full-cycle SAP PLM or related product development implementations in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding PLM integration with engineering, manufacturing, quality management, procurement, and supply chain processes.
• Experience facilitating workshops, coordinating cross-functional deliverables, mentoring junior team members, or leading a defined project workstream.

• The salary range for this job is:
  • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $122,900, to $204,900
  • Bay Area California offices – $128,100 to $213,400
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $102,500 to $187,900
• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
