The SAP PCS Lead will gather business requirements, perform system configuration, and manage the production control and scheduling work stream. They are responsible for creating functional specifications, conducting system demos, and overseeing the production order lifecycle.
Job Description
Title: SAP PCS Lead
Location: Remote
Focus on SAP ECC Production Planning Consultant who worked extensively in Work Centers, Bill of materials, Routings and Production Orders execution.
- PCS (Production Control & Scheduling)
- MBoM, Routing and Shop Floor Execution’s SAP Best Practice
- Work Stream requirement gathering with the business process owners fill in the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire.
- Based on the answers obtained from the assessment, consultants need to plan/build the Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck)
- Requirements Management
- Configuration and Documentation
- Key Decision Documentation
- Process Flows
- Authorization and Security
- Test planning (Standard and Custom objects)
- Change Management
- Reporting
- S/4 Experience
- A&D Experience
- Parameter Effectivity (integration to PLM and MES) - We will train, not mandatory
- Classification, MRP, Scheduling and Costing views of the Material Masters
- Work Centers, BoMs and Routings – Revision & ECM
- Production Order Lifecycle (Creation to Confirmation to Goods Receipt) incl. Collective Orders for MTS and MTO with WBS
- External Processing wit Subcontracting
- Production Order Kitting
- Goods Issues (batch managed) and Reversals for Production Order
- Rework and Production Order Splitting
- Availability Checking and Shortage reporting
- Integration with PLM systems
- Integration with MES systems
- Functional specification authoring
