The Kitchen and Cafe Teams work in a fun and fast-paced environment focused on delivering delicious local food with fresh seasonal and local ingredients. One of the key players on our food service team is the “Hotseat” Sandwich Crafter who ensures that orders are made accurately, to high quality standards, and at a quick pace, as well as providing great customer service.

Requirements

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Accurately makes sandwiches to order and prepares and produces high-quality food in a consistent and timely manner 
• Models accuracy & urgency in preparing ingredients and building menu items with the goal of consistently serving high quality food in a fast paced environment 
• Ensures the pars/prep lists are being completed such as slicing meat, cheese and vegetables  
• Prepares the workstation for each shift, based on day, weather, season, expected crowds, and for following shift
• Works safely around hot ovens, heavy equipment, and sharp utensils 

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS?

AGE/AVAILABILITY

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Must possess a passion for local food and an interest in telling the story behind it.
• Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service.
• Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of a team, and able to create working relationships.
• Must be highly motivated, hard working, and possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude. 
• Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
