Salesforce Developer and Technical Consultant

Red Hill is hiring Salesforce developers and technical consultants at every level for a multi year enterprise program. We have room for experienced Apex and Lightning Web Component developers as well as early career technical consultants who hold current certifications and want serious platform work.

Levels we are filling: Associate Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, Salesforce Developer, and Senior Salesforce Developer.

ABOUT RED HILL CONSULTING

Red Hill Consulting LLC is a New York based information technology, governance, risk, and compliance consulting firm. We staff and deliver enterprise Salesforce programs for large public sector and regulated industry clients.

This is a direct W2 hire onto Red Hill payroll. We do not work corp to corp and we do not engage 1099 contractors for these positions. Benefits include an optional medical, dental, and vision plan, employer paid basic life and long term disability, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

LOCATION

Remote, United States. All work must be performed from within the continental United States, defined as the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. Client data may not leave that area, so we cannot consider candidates who will be working from outside it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•   Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch and queueable jobs, and asynchronous processing.

•   Build Lightning Web Components and Aura components against approved design patterns.

•   Implement declarative automation with Flow, validation rules, and approval processes where configuration beats code.

•   Build and consume REST and SOAP integrations, and support middleware integration work.

•   Write unit tests that meet or exceed coverage standards, and remediate defects found in system and user acceptance testing.

•   Work inside a Git based source control and continuous integration pipeline, and follow the program release calendar.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•   Two or more years of hands on Salesforce development for the consultant levels, five or more for the senior developer level.

•   At least two Salesforce implementations completed within the past five years, with your role clearly documented.

•   Working command of Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.

•   Experience with the Salesforce data model, sharing rules, and governor limits.

•   Familiarity with Git, branching strategy, and deployment through change sets or a modern pipeline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•   Prior delivery for a government agency, public authority, or other regulated entity.

•   Experience with Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins based deployment automation.

•   Experience with OmniStudio, Data Cloud, or Agentforce.

•   JavaScript, HTML, and CSS depth beyond the Lightning framework.

Platform Developer I is the baseline we look for at the consultant levels. Platform Developer II carries the most weight at the senior developer level.

HOW WE VERIFY CERTIFICATIONS

Red Hill verifies every Salesforce credential before a candidate is presented to a client.Include the public link to your Salesforce Trailhead profile in your application. We confirm that each credential you list is current, in good standing, and has not lapsed under Salesforce maintenance requirements.For each credential, list the credential name and the date you last completed its maintenance module. Credentials that cannot be verified on Trailhead will not be counted toward your candidacy.
