Responsibilities

You will begin your career at Intrepid Direct in our immersive 90-day Intrepid Producer Academy (IPA), a structured development program designed to build the foundation for a successful insurance sales career. During the Academy, you'll learn the fundamentals of property and casualty insurance, earn your Property & Casualty license, gain exposure to key areas of the business, and develop the prospecting, communication, and relationship-building skills needed to succeed in sales.

Upon successful completion of the Academy, you will transition into a defined sales territory as a licensed Sales Executive. Your development continues throughout your first year through ongoing coaching, mentorship, and advanced training designed to accelerate your growth into a high-performing insurance producer.

As a Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in Intrepid Direct's growth by helping business owners protect and grow their businesses. Focused on new business development within franchise-based industries, you'll be responsible for building relationships, creating opportunities, and developing a pipeline within your assigned territory.

Unlike many sales roles, you'll enter markets where Intrepid Direct already has established relationships, industry expertise, and strong brand recognition. Through our existing partnerships and presence within many of the franchise brands we serve, you'll have meaningful opportunities to connect with business owners and build credibility from day one. You're not simply making outbound calls, you're developing trusted relationships, expanding our presence within targeted industries, and helping deliver a better insurance experience to customers.

What You’ll Do:

Learn & Build Your Foundation

• Participate in the Intrepid Producer Academy (IPA), a structured 90-day onboarding and development program:
• Become licensed in Property & Casualty insurance and learn the business from the ground up
• Develop an understanding of how to effectively sell within franchise-based industries
• Learn how to clearly communicate Intrepid Direct’s value across different verticals
• Gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle by shadowing sales leaders and cross-functional teams
• Participate in structured training across both sales methodology and insurance coverage
• Build your ability to assess prospect operations, risks, and insurance needs
• Continued coaching and professional development opportunities extend throughout your first year.

 Sell & Grow Your Business

• Proactively engage business owners within targeted franchise brands and industries
• Leverage existing brand presence and familiarity to create warm entry points
• Generate new opportunities through disciplined, consistent outreach
• Present tailored solutions with confidence, clarity, and professionalism
• Meet and exceed activity and sales goals through strong execution
• Partner with underwriting and internal teams to move opportunities forward
• Build and manage a pipeline through consistent outbound activity (calls, emails, networking)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1-5 years of sales experience preferred
• Ability to pass P&C exam within first 60 days
• Track record of success
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to learn and follow processes with a CRM
