Sales Director, Healthcare

Location: Remote position in US.

As the Sales Director, Healthcare, you will define and execute the growth strategy for a high-performing Healthcare business spanning Payers, Providers, and Life Sciences. Reporting as a sales executive, you will lead first-line sales leaders and strategic individual contributors, own regional business performance, and partner across the executive team to accelerate growth. You will serve as an executive sponsor for key customers, shape go-to-market strategy, and help customers leverage AI-powered customer experience transformation to achieve measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

·         10+ years of enterprise SaaS, cloud and AI sales leadership with a history of exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue objectives.

·         5+ years leading enterprise sales organizations, including leaders of leaders and strategic individual contributors.

·         Deep expertise across Healthcare Payers, Providers and Life Sciences, including industry trends, regulatory considerations and buying motions.

·         Demonstrated success creating and executing enterprise go-to-market strategies and organizational growth plans.

·         Executive relationships with C-suite healthcare leaders.

·         Experience sponsoring complex transformational opportunities with executive stakeholders.

·         Strong operational rigor in forecasting, pipeline governance, inspection cadence and performance management.

·         Experience leading organizational change, succession planning and executive talent development.

·         Executive communication, influence and presentation skills.

·         Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

·         30–40% travel.

Strategic Leadership

·         Develop and execute the AI-forward Healthcare sales strategy aligned to corporate growth objectives.

·         Create multi-year market plans across Payers, Providers and Life Sciences.

·         Represent Genesys as an executive thought leader with customers, partners and industry forums.

·         Champion AI adoption and digital transformation strategies that differentiate Genesys.

Leadership and Talent Management

·         Lead, coach and inspire first-line sales leaders and strategic enterprise sellers.

·         Create a culture of accountability, inclusion, coaching and operational excellence.

·         Develop succession plans and recruit top sales talent.

·         Establish leadership operating rhythms focused on inspection, coaching and continuous improvement.

Business Performance

·         Own bookings, pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, operating cadence and business health.

·         Drive disciplined opportunity reviews and strategic deal orchestration.

·         Allocate investments and resources to maximize long-term growth.

·         Present executive business reviews with actionable recommendations.

Customer and Market Engagement

·         Serve as executive sponsor for strategic healthcare customers and partners.

·         Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and industry influencers.

·         Leverage healthcare expertise to shape customer transformation strategies and measurable business outcomes.

·         Provide market intelligence that influences product, pricing and GTM strategy.

Cross-Functional Leadership

·         Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, Legal and Alliances.

·         Influence enterprise priorities without direct authority.

·         Drive scalable processes, operational excellence and customer-centric innovation.

·         Ensure alignment across executive stakeholders to accelerate growth.

Success Measures

·         Consistently exceed bookings and revenue objectives.

·         Develop a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline.

·         Improve forecast accuracy and sales productivity.

·         Increase strategic customer engagement and executive sponsorship.

·         Expand market share across the Healthcare vertical.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$156,800.00 - $275,800.00
