About the Role

Momentum Solar is seeking motivated, resilient Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to

join our remote Inside Sales team. As an SDR, you will make outbound calls to residential

homeowners to generate interest in solar energy and schedule qualified appointments for

Momentum Solar's field representatives.

This is a high volume, cold prospecting role not an inbound customer service position. You will

spend the majority of your workday at a computer wearing a headset, speaking with homeowners

who may not be expecting your call. Success requires persistence, emotional resilience,

coachability, professionalism, and the ability to remain productive.

What You'll Do

● Make high volume outbound calls to residential homeowners.

● Introduce Momentum Solar and create interest in a solar consultation.

● Identify the homeowner's electric provider and approximate monthly electric bill.

● Follow Momentum's approved sales process and script.

● Ask qualifying questions and identify homeowner needs or concerns.

● Handle common objections such as “not interested,” “I'm busy,” “send me information,”

or “I need to speak with my spouse.”

● Schedule qualified appointments for field Solar Consultants.

● Prioritize same day and next day appointments when appropriate.

● Verify homeowner contact and property information.

● Accurately document customer information and call outcomes in company systems.

● Meet established expectations for activity, appointment production, appointment quality,

attendance, communication, and professionalism.

Two Week Paid Training

New representatives complete a structured two week virtual training program.

Week 1 - Foundations

Learn Momentum Solar and residential solar fundamentals, the SDR sales process, script

execution, qualification, objection handling, systems, and appointment setting techniques.

Week 2 - Skill Development & Team Qualification

Apply those skills through live outbound calling, role-play, call reviews, coaching, QA feedback,

pitch execution, and performance evaluation.

Team placement is earned and is not guaranteed simply by completing two weeks of training.

Representatives must demonstrate the knowledge, sales execution, activity, appointment

production, QA performance, attendance, communication, professionalism, and coachability

required for successful placement.

Compensation & Benefits

● $18/hour base pay

Applicants must have reliable technology capable of supporting a professional remote sales

environment:

● Windows 10/11 or currently supported macOS

● Latest Google Chrome

● 8 GB RAM minimum; 16 GB recommended

● Modern dual core processor minimum; quad core recommended

● Wired USB/USB-C headset with microphone and echo cancellation

● Reliable internet connection; wired Ethernet strongly preferred

● Minimum 20 Mbps dedicated upload and 100 Mbps dedicated download

● Quiet, professional workspace free from ongoing distractions
