Job Description
Cavaco AI is an AI-native marketing platform for ecommerce brands, coordinating email, SMS, WhatsApp, paid ads, social, and onsite experiences. We are moving from founder-led selling to a repeatable go-to-market motion.
You will create qualified conversations with ecommerce brands, agencies, and partners. Research target accounts, write relevant first-touch messages, make daily prospecting calls, follow up with warm leads, qualify inbound interest, book discovery meetings, and keep HubSpot accurate.
By day 30, learn our product, customer problems, proof points, ICP, and sales systems. By day 60, independently run daily outbound and warm follow-up blocks, create qualified meetings, and document every conversation. By day 90, own a repeatable email, phone, and LinkedIn rhythm that produces qualified pipeline and useful market feedback. You will work directly with Cavaco's founders to improve messaging, objection handling, qualification, and the handoff from first conversation to discovery and demo.
Strong candidates have at least one year of successful SDR, BDR, recruiting, fundraising, partnerships, or high-volume customer-development experience. You write short, specific messages based on account research instead of generic templates; are comfortable calling senior ecommerce and marketing leaders; use a CRM rigorously; learn technical products quickly; and explain value without jargon. You are resilient, coachable, organized, and motivated by measurable outcomes. Experience with ecommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, Klaviyo, lifecycle marketing, agencies, or AI software is helpful but not required. A college degree is not required.
Base salary: $60,000–$70,000. On-target earnings: $85,000–$100,000, plus equity options. Final compensation reflects experience, location, and scope. The variable plan rewards qualified meetings that are held and opportunities that meet agreed qualification standards—not empty calendar volume.
This is a full-time remote role within the United States with optional San Francisco Bay Area collaboration. Join while the sales system is still being built, learn directly from experienced founders, and grow toward account executive, partnerships, or GTM operations responsibility.
