Sales & Business Development Representative (SLED)

Position can be based w/i 90 mile radius of Atlanta or Baton Rouge, LA

The Sales & Business Development Rep is a key position, with the primary goal of acquiring new business and growing an existing portfolio of SLED accounts in a professional setting.

What will you be doing day to day?

• Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed sales objectives in acquiring new clients
• Work with a team of RFP writers to ensure they have the right pitch and engagement tools to bring good clients to your desk.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers at SLED agencies for all staffing needs and partner with them on filling their needs exclusively
• Perform prospect visits to facilities to educate and inform on our staffing services and drive exclusive and set-aside business for the company.
• Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships
• Keep abreast of trends in the industry and identify new opportunities for the growth of your portfolio
• Work with the department heads, stakeholders, decision-makers, procurement or scheduling teams at each facility to identify their critical needs
• Managing client relationships to generate referrals as well as grow current accounts

Your Experience & Skills

• 5+ Years of Sales and Business Development experience especially in acquiring new business for an IT staffing or services organization (SLED Experience is a plus)
• Great attitude, passion, and drive to be a perfectionist
• High-energy and competitive nature that seeks results and personal accountability

• Strong relationship-building skills
• Exceptional planning and execution skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment
• Ability to travel 25% of the time

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The position is also eligible for monthly commissions. The salary range provided is an estimate. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience
