Sales Associate - Part Time

Schedule

Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preference will be given to applicants with availability 7am-4pm; schedule varies based on business needs. 

Must be at least 18 years old or possess High School diploma (or equivalent)

Position Summary

We're looking for a people-focused professional who excels at delivering outstanding service while helping guests find the right car wash solution for their needs. You'll be the first point of contact for every customer - building rapport, understanding their car care habits, and confidently recommending the services and membership packages that fit their routine.

Your ability to read customers, ask the right questions, and make tailored recommendations will directly impact both customer satisfaction and your earnings through our membership commission program.

Essential Functions

• Engage with every guest to understand their car care needs and recommend the best service option
• Educate guests on wash services and unlimited membership packages, helping them see the value and convenience
• Build rapport quickly by picking up on cues about how customers use and care for their vehicles
• Provide professional service explanations
• Answer questions about our services and help guests make confident decisions
• Escalate complaints or complex concerns to management
• Perform vehicle preparation and loading duties with demonstrated proficiency
• Operate designated tunnel controls as assigned
• Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain cash-handling accuracy and accountability
• Promote membership sales programs
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards
• Work closely with your team to deliver a seamless guest experience and support daily operational goals
• Comply with the Company’s Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales preferred
• Strong communication skills and genuine interest in helping people
• Ability to read customers and adapt your approach based on their needs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in all weather conditions
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and POS system experience
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and motivation to succeed
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility
• At least 18 years old or possess High School diploma (or equivalent)

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Frequently use hands and arms
• Occasionally lift and move items up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to water, cleaning agents, and operational equipment
