Sales Associate

The Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales through exhibiting passion for Erin Condren brand, products, and trends with all customers. The Sales Associate is also responsible for executing initiatives and tasks as assigned by the leadership team and ensure that Company standards and best practices are consistently met. Overall, the Sales Associate is expected to work as a positive member of the store team and consistently provide an exceptional customer experience. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Maintaining the Guest Experience and store environment to Erin Condren standards and represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
• Meeting, or exceeding, personal sales and KPI goals.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Communicates any variances to Company standards to the Store Manager.
• Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
• Ensures completion of all cleaning tasks assigned throughout the store, including restrooms.
• Maintains adherence to Company safety policies and ensures the safety of Associates and Customers.
• Treats all Customers, Associates, and other leaders with respect.
• Provides efficient and friendly service at the registers, Customer Service desk, sales floor, etc.

• Ensures merchandise is presented and organized according to Company merchandising guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Experience & Qualifications

 Required

• Must be able to work flexible hours depending on business demands to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and approved overtime.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Must be punctual.
• Knowledge of retail POS systems
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with people face to face.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and Slack). 
• Must be able to tolerate working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed processes.

Preferred

• Erin Condren brand and product knowledge
• Experience in a retail environment.
• Can perform basic mechanical applications. 
• Analytical Skills.
• Problem solving skills.

 Education

• High School Diploma, GED. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year per year basis.

• Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
