Safety Technician - Industrial Site - local Baytown

We are looking for a Safety Technician for a jobsite in the Baytown, Mont Belvieu area

PK Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician to support safety operations at an industrial worksite. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe work environment by conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, supporting training efforts, and assisting with safety documentation and reporting.

• This position is intended for local candidates only.
• No per diem, travel pay, or relocation assistance is available.
• Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the job location.
• Project opportunity - 16 - 20 week duration.  Minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Pay Range:  $28 - $32 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine site safety inspections and observations.
• Monitor compliance with company and client safety requirements.
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation.
• Support new hire orientations and safety training activities.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation.
• Promote a positive safety culture and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Prior industrial, construction, or safety experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
