Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $65/hr
🏨 Per Diem: None
🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month
💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 40 Hours Per Week

The Construction Safety Manager will oversee project safety activities, including new hire onboarding, safety training, JHA development and review, field observations, audits, and contractor safety compliance.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 500 or 510
✔ Minimum 3+ Years of Construction Safety Experience Preferred

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ BCSP: CHST, ASP, or CSP Certification
⭐ Higher Education or Campus Construction Experience
⭐ General Contractor Safety Experience
⭐ Large Multi-Trade Construction Project Experience
⭐ OSHA 500 Certification
⭐ Contractor Safety Management Experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide daily field safety oversight for campus construction activities
• Conduct new hire safety orientations and onboarding programs
• Develop, review, and track Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Perform routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor subcontractor activities and construction operations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Lead and attend project safety meetings
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
