Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $58/hr (Local Candidates) OR $50/hr + $175/day Per Diem (Travelers)
⏱️ Overtime: Included in scheduled project hours
🏨 Per Diem: $175/day (Non-Local Candidates)
🎯 Completion Bonus: $150
💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 10-Hour Days | Approximately 50 Hours/Week
📈 Additional Schedule Details: Short-term project with immediate start. Consistent first-shift schedule.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Certification
✔ Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience
✔ Experience supporting foundation, civil, geotechnical, or commercial construction projects
✔ Strong field safety presence and hazard recognition skills
✔ Experience conducting site inspections and field observations
✔ Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, supervision, and client representatives

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Helical pile installation experience
⭐ Specialty foundation contractor experience
⭐ Commercial construction project experience
⭐ Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial project experience
⭐ Heavy equipment and excavation safety experience
⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, STS-C, or other BCSP credential

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide daily field safety oversight for helical pile installation and foundation activities
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Conduct routine site inspections, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor drilling, pile installation, equipment operation, and material handling activities
• Support compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Work closely with site supervision and the general contractor's safety personnel
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Assist with safety-related communication between stakeholders onsite
• Participate in incident investigations if required
• Maintain awareness of changing site conditions and project risks
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
