Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $48/hr
⏱️ Overtime: Included in scheduled 70-hour work weeks
🏨 Per Diem: $125/day (Non-Local Candidates)
🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month
💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Sunday | 7 x 10-Hour Shifts | Approximately 70 Hours/Week
📈 Additional Schedule Details: No work on rain days. Overtime available based on project needs.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Certification
✔ Minimum 1+ years of construction safety experience
✔ Experience supporting roofing, scaffolding, and aerial lift operations
✔ Experience working on large commercial or industrial construction projects
✔ Strong understanding of hazard recognition, inspections, and corrective actions
✔ Ability to work extensive overtime and maintain a consistent field presence

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Previous experience supporting industrial coating or painting projects
⭐ Insulation contractor safety experience
⭐ Scaffold safety oversight experience
⭐ Experience conducting site audits and field safety observations
⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
⭐ Previous experience working with Niles Industrial or contractors who have completed prior site training

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide daily field safety oversight for roofing, scaffold, coatings, and insulation work
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor roofing activities, scaffold erection and use, aerial lift operations, and coating applications
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
