🏨 Per Diem: $125/Day

🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month

💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly

⏰ Schedule: Monday-Saturday | 60 Hours Per Week (6x10s) | 1st Shift

Join a mechanical and fire protection contractor supporting the construction of a new aircraft hangar in North Charleston, SC. This role provides hands-on safety leadership for mechanical piping, HVAC, fire protection system installation, material handling, elevated work, and daily construction activities on a large-scale aerospace project.

The Construction Safety Manager will partner closely with project leadership, field supervision, and craft personnel to maintain OSHA compliance while promoting a proactive safety culture throughout all phases of construction.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Construction Certification

✔ Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience

✔ Mechanical construction safety experience

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Fire protection construction experience

⭐ Aerospace, aviation, or aircraft hangar construction experience

⭐ Industrial or manufacturing construction experience

⭐ Experience supporting large-scale commercial construction projects

⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee daily safety activities for mechanical and fire protection construction operations
• Maintain a visible field presence alongside craft personnel and project supervision
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments
• Monitor mechanical piping, HVAC, fire protection, and equipment installation activities
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
• Provide field coaching and mentorship to supervisors and craft personnel
• Deliver toolbox talks and support ongoing safety training initiatives
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain safety reports, inspections, observations, and compliance documentation
• Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
• Promote a positive safety culture across the project
