What is Project Symphony?

To advance us further along our journey to excellence at Integer Holdings Corporation, we launched Symphony, a program to implement an updated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and establish enterprise-wide standard processes and structure. This includes ensuring Symphony directly enables the Integer Production System, including elements such as the production monitoring and improvement process, and sales, inventory, and operations planning. The program will effect change across the company, which will have a direct impact on optimizing business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and positioning Integer for continued success.  Symphony is about having the right business processes in place supported by a single, modern, integrated ERP platform.

What you’ll do in this role:

This role operates across Integer’s global Finance organization and manufacturing footprint and has enterprise-wide responsibility for processes supporting financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, management reporting, and the group close. The role influences business processes, data, controls, technology, and ways of working across corporate finance and accounting, business units, functions, and sites.

You will be the Global Process Owner (GPO) for SAC Planning and Group Reporting, responsible for leading the business design and implementation of Integer’s enterprise planning, consolidation, and group reporting capabilities within the Symphony program. This role owns the global process vision, standards, requirements, governance, and business acceptance for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and SAP Group Reporting, partnering closely with Finance, IT, the system integrator, and cross-functional business leaders. The successful candidate will simplify complex topics, make timely decisions, promote transparency, and apply strong transactional discipline to deliver a scalable global template.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation Leadership

•  Own the end-to-end global process design for SAC Planning and Group Reporting, including the future-state operating model, governance, roles, controls, and global standards.

•  Lead the definition and standardization of enterprise budgeting, rolling forecast, long-range planning, consolidation, intercompany elimination, currency translation, group close, and management reporting processes.

•  Translate business objectives into clear process requirements, design decisions, acceptance criteria, and prioritized implementation deliverables.

•  Serve as the primary business decision-maker for the workstream, resolving design questions promptly and escalating cross-functional decisions through Symphony governance when required. Exercise delegated decision authority for the global process, including approving standard process designs, determining when local requirements warrant exceptions, recommending prioritization of scope and investment, and accepting the solution on behalf of the business within established Symphony governance.

•  Approve business requirements, global process designs, business process blueprints, functional specifications, security concepts, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integration requirements.

•  Ensure SAC Planning supports P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, OPEX, workforce, CapEx, revenue, scenario, version, assumption, and actual-versus-plan requirements.

•  Ensure Group Reporting supports data collection, consolidation structures, validation, intercompany matching and elimination, consolidation journals, currency translation, close monitoring, and group-level financial reporting.

•  Define business requirements for integrations among SAC Planning, Group Reporting, S/4HANA Finance, IBP, SuccessFactors, Project Systems, BlackLine, and approved reporting or data platforms.

•  Establish the post-go-live process ownership and governance model, including process performance measures, control effectiveness, enhancement prioritization, release readiness, adoption monitoring, and continuous improvement of the global planning and consolidation template.

•  Define and monitor global process KPIs and leading indicators for planning effectiveness, forecast quality, consolidation and close performance, data quality, user adoption, and compliance with global standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

•  Partner with Corporate FP&A, Controllership, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, and site finance leaders to align enterprise and local requirements while protecting the global template.

•  Lead a global matrixed team of Finance SMEs, Super Users, site representatives, IT resources, and system-integrator personnel, with accountability for workstream priorities, deliverables, quality, and business outcomes.

•  Lead fit-to-standard workshops and playbacks, challenge unnecessary customization, and ensure approved gaps follow formal change control.

•  Own business data readiness, including planning dimensions, hierarchies, mappings, historical data, master-data dependencies, reconciliation requirements, and data-quality expectations.

•  Lead business testing strategy and execution, including test scenarios, user acceptance testing, defect prioritization, reconciliation, evidence, and business sign-off before go-live.

•  Define cutover, parallel-run, transition, and decommissioning business requirements for legacy planning and consolidation tools.

•  Partner with Organizational Change Management and Deployment teams to define stakeholder engagement, training, Super User and SME participation, adoption, and post-go-live support requirements.

•  Provide business oversight of system-integrator and third-party deliverables, including reviewing solution quality, challenging recommendations, confirming alignment with business requirements, and escalating delivery, resource, or quality concerns.

•  Other relevant duties as assigned.

What sets you apart:

•  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

•  Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial consolidation, controllership, enterprise performance management, or finance transformation, including direct responsibility for global process design or system implementation.

•  SAP experience: Hands-on business experience implementing or operating SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and/or SAP Group Reporting. Strong knowledge in both areas is preferred.

•  Process expertise: Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, intercompany elimination, currency translation, management reporting, and financial close processes.

•  Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, make decisions with incomplete information, and drive alignment across global functions and sites.

•  Skills: Strong process design, requirements definition, workshop facilitation, testing, data reconciliation, governance, change leadership, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.

•  Controls mindset: Working knowledge of financial controls, auditability, segregation of duties, data governance, and regulated-environment expectations.

Desired skills & experience:

•  Experience integrating planning with S/4HANA actuals, IBP, SuccessFactors, Project Systems, and group consolidation data.

•  Experience transitioning from Hyperion or another legacy enterprise performance management and consolidation platform.

•  Manufacturing, medical device, life sciences, or other regulated-industry experience.

•  Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, intercompany, and global reporting environments.

•  Ability to balance strategic process ownership with hands-on review of designs, data, testing, and deployment readiness.

Travel

• This position may require 30% or more of your time traveling domestically and internationally to Integer manufacturing sites, customer sites, and supplier sites, as required.
• As such, you have a current passport and can secure appropriate visas, as required, for travel to international locations as specified.
