What Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking an RVP, Health Plans to build Hyro’s payer segment from the ground up. You’ll bring strong go-to-market expertise: hands-on leadership of sales teams driving complex, strategic deals to close, combined with a track record of building sales motions in new or emerging markets. You’ll personally create and close our first payer deals, managing them with a high degree of strategy to establish product-market fit; as traction takes hold, you’ll build and lead the high-growth team that scales that same motion across the health plan industry.

You know how health plans make decisions: the stakeholders, the procurement path, the regulatory and quality pressures they’re navigating (Stars, HEDIS, CMS rules, state mandates). You can speak fluently to value-based care and patient/member engagement, and translate AI capabilities into ROI narratives that move payer organizations to act.

Responsibilities

• Personally create, strategically manage, and close Hyro’s first health plan deals: identify entry points, build C-suite relationships, and close net-new contracts across Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and ASO markets.
• Apply strong GTM and deal leadership to sharpen product-market fit as real payer deals surface real requirements, working closely with Product and Solutions.
• Build multi-threaded, executive-level engagement strategies spanning clinical, operational, digital, actuarial, network, quality, and financial stakeholders.
• Lead complex, long-cycle enterprise sales from executive discovery through proposal, procurement, and contract execution.
• Translate Hyro’s AI agent capabilities into payer-specific value: member experience, call deflection and containment, prior auth automation, care management workflows, value-based care and patient engagement outcomes, and cost reduction.
• Develop and present ROI models connecting Hyro’s platform to health plan economics and quality outcomes (HEDIS, Stars).
• Lead RFI/RFP responses, coordinating across Solutions, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce; manage territory with clear segmentation and prioritization.
• Once product-market fit is established, build and lead a high-growth sales team, and hands-on lead their deals, to scale GTM across the health plan market.
• Represent Hyro at payer industry conferences and build the company’s presence with senior health plan leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise healthcare sales experience, with at least 5 years quota-carrying, selling into health plans or managed care organizations.
• Proven hands-on leadership of sales teams driving complex, strategic deals to closure, paired with experience building sales motions in new or emerging markets.
• A proven record of personally creating and closing large, complex, multi-year net-new contracts with health plan C-suite and VP-level buyers across Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and/or ASO lines.
• Deep understanding of health plan economics, organizational structures, and the regulatory and quality pressures reshaping the space; fluency in value-based care and patient/member engagement models.
• Established C-suite and VP-level relationships across the health plan landscape.
• Exceptional executive presence, fluent in both clinical and business-level conversation.
• Proven ability to build ROI models, value frameworks, and business cases that drive urgency and alignment.
• Structured sales methodology (Miller Heiman/MEDDPICC strongly preferred).
• Both a skilled, hands-on seller and a skilled leader of high-growth go-to-market teams, able to close the deal today and build the team that scales it tomorrow.
• Experience with quality, risk adjustment, or value-based care analytics vendors selling into payers is a strong plus.

This is a remote role working from home with up to 30% travel. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
