We are seeking an energetic, polished, and welcoming Part-Time Runner/Busser to join the team at Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The Runner/Busser plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for guests. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, supporting the service staff, and ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, floors, and chairs during service
• Assist servers with food delivery and provide guests with additional napkins, utensils, and other requested items.
• Provide extra napkins, utensils, and other items as requested by guests or servers
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth service.
• Welcome and assist with seating guests as they arrive.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and respond to guest needs and concerns promptly
• Set up dining areas for service, including placing table settings, arranging centerpieces, and stocking supplies
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties
• Maintain cleanliness in service stations, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with special events and functions as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position.

Schedule: Part-Time | Work Location: On-Site | Schedule: Evenings, including late nights and weekends.

Base salary: $11.35 per hour + tips.

Benefits: Paid and unpaid safe and sick hours
