Rosie's Busperson Part time Swing Shift

FUNCTION:   

Responsible for efficiently cleaning, sanitizing, and re setting tables in the restaurant area, ensuring that the dining room is neat and organized. Assist food servers as needed. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Clear and sanitize tables, chairs, and cushions in a timely, quiet, and efficient manner.
2. Set the dining tables in accordance with restaurant standards. 
3. Place all dishes, silverware, and glassware in the appropriate bus tubs.
4. Clean floors and under guest tables, ensuring dining room floor is free from debris.
5. Assist food servers by pre-bussing all non-alcoholic glasses, plates, and silverware.
6. Greet and welcome guests within two minutes of their arrival serving water and non-alcoholic beverages, refill as appropriate. 
7. Communicate guests needs to server.
8. Stock restaurant side stations and maintain par limits as directed.
9. Consistently follow all sanitation policies and procedures
10. Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. 
11. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests. 
12. Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond” as appropriate.
13. Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
14. Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike. 
15. Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager. 
16. Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
17. Regular predictable attendance is required.
18. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.

Fine finger manipulation. 

Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.

Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
