Job DetailsJob Location: DERRY, PA 15627This position is classified as full-time. The position typically involves 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week. Occasional weekends are needed. The position may require shift work, daylight, afternoon, or midnight.
Pay rate: $19/Hour
Hiring Bonus: $2,000!
Job Summary:
The Hot Working Laborer position will assist as needed in the day-to-day operations of the rolling mill, the heat-treating area, and the conditioning area. The position requires standing for long periods of time.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Manual lifting, manipulation of high temperature titanium bars using tongs and other hot-working tools
Furnace loading/unloading
Maintain and follow all applicable safety protocols
Maintain material and bar location identifications
Forklift operation
Guide set-up and tooling changes
Manual operation of bar conditioning tools

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret work instructions
Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality
Ability to operate forklift
Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as needed
