Job DetailsJob Location: UDP Madisonville - Madisonville, KY 42431The Roll-Off DOT Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating roll-off trucks to service commercial and residential customers. The driver will transport, deliver, and pick up roll-off containers according to assigned routes and schedules while complying with all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.

The driver is responsible for performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing and transporting loads safely, maintaining required driving and service records, and providing professional customer service. The position requires safe driving practices, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate roll-off equipment in a variety of locations and conditions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver, pick up, and transport containers.
Follow assigned routes, schedules, and customer instructions.
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Properly secure and transport containers and loads.
Operate roll-off hydraulic equipment safely and efficiently.
Comply with DOT regulations and all company safety policies.
Complete required logs, paperwork, and electronic documentation.
Report vehicle, equipment, or safety issues to management.
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work area.
Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
Assist with basic equipment checks and identify maintenance concerns.
Follow proper procedures when entering and exiting customer locations and job sites.

Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
Acceptable driving record.
Current DOT medical certification as required.
Previous commercial driving or roll-off experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate a roll-off truck and hydraulic container system.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe commercial driving practices.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ability to complete required driving logs, paperwork, and electronic documentation.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes efficiently.
