ROI Project Manager (Professional Services)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ROI Project Manager (Professional Services) based in the United States.

This role is a key part of client account teams, responsible for guiding projects from initial planning through successful completion.
You’ll manage multiple engagements simultaneously, coordinating timelines, resources, deliverables, meetings, and stakeholder communication.
The position combines client relationship management with hands-on project execution in a fast-paced professional services environment.
You’ll bring structure to complex work, identify risks early, and proactively resolve issues that could affect scope, timing, budget, or quality.
The role also contributes to internal initiatives that support business priorities, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
You’ll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams while using modern project management platforms and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.

Accountabilities

• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements from initiation through completion, developing project plans, timelines, schedules, resource plans, and delivery milestones.

• Coordinate internal and client resources, meetings, deliverables, project hours, and dependencies to ensure high-quality, on-time execution.

• Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining alignment, managing expectations, and communicating proactively throughout the project lifecycle.

• Establish clear project roles, responsibilities, milestones, priorities, and expectations across all phases of delivery.

• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential roadblocks and proactively develop and implement solutions.

• Facilitate project meetings and ensure decisions, action items, owners, and next steps are clearly documented and communicated.

• Monitor project progress and communicate changes, risks, decisions, scope considerations, budget implications, and timeline impacts to relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, quality standards, and deadlines.

• Provide project management support for internal initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation within project management platforms and business systems.

• Support project forecasting, resource planning, scheduling, and other professional services operational activities.

• Lead project closeout activities, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities to improve future project delivery.

• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of project management processes, tools, templates, workflows, and best practices.

• Use AI-powered tools and project management capabilities to streamline routine activities, improve communication, synthesize information, and enhance project visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, university, or technical school required.

• 4+ years of experience managing complex projects from initiation through completion.

• 3+ years of experience in professional services or a client-facing environment preferred.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements and/or internal projects.

• Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.

• Proven ability to proactively identify challenges, take ownership, and drive projects toward successful outcomes.

• Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent preferred.

• Experience in event project management and/or design and creative project delivery is a plus.

• Proficiency with project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Asana, Wrike, Monday.com, or equivalent.

• Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote, and/or Google Workspace.

• Familiarity with business communication tools such as Zoom and the ability to quickly learn new technology applications.

• Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or ChatGPT to enhance project management workflows.

• Ability to use AI tools for drafting communications and deliverables, generating meeting summaries and action items, synthesizing information, and automating routine tasks.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled project management features such as automated timelines, status reporting, and risk identification is valuable.

• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, apply sound judgment, and refine prompts to produce accurate and useful results.

• A relationship-oriented approach with a strong commitment to client experience, accountability, and high-quality delivery.
