Position Summary: As a Store Associate, you'll provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Welcome every customer with a friendly attitude and excellent service.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent ROCS Local Market with pride.
Operate the register accurately and efficiently, applying correct prices and discounts.
Handle cash and other forms of payment responsibly.
Monitor customer traffic and follow all security procedures.
Call for assistance or encourage self-checkout when needed to reduce wait times.
Stock merchandise, front-face shelves, clean, organize, and complete other store tasks during slower periods.
Promote current sales, promotions, and Rewards Card benefits.
Inspect and clean restrooms throughout the shift to ensure company standards are met.
Report maintenance, safety, operational, or cash handling concerns to management promptly.
Complete all assigned shift duties.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an entire shift.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
Ability to lift, stock, and move merchandise as needed.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID required
Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening
