Job Description
A Registered Nurse renders personal and professional care to patients. Uses a systematic approach to assist patient's needs, plan care, provide quality/direct care, coordination of care and evaluate care in an efficient and safe environment. The RN facilitates collaboration amongst a variety of disciplines to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice, for promoting teamwork with physician and personnel of other department. Patient advocacy, patient safety, and improving health status are priorities when the RN develops the plan of care. The RN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an Ohio RN License. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. Cardiac monitoring or Telemetry Education required. RN Scrub experience required. CNOR and prior relevant nursing experience preferred.

In 2011, seventy-five percent of the patients are seen on an outpatient basis and in many cases patients are in and out of the hospital in a matter of hours. Since the opening, the hospital has outgrown its space and is now a 100,000 square foot Critical Access Hospital with 25 beds.
