RN Psych | 2 Nights ($2232 Weekly Gross) in Centre Hall, PA

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with mental health needs. The RN will assess patients, develop care plans, monitor behavioral and physical health, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Local candidates accepted

Compensation – Local Candidates

• Regular Rate: $34/hr
• Assignment Bonus: $24/hr
• Total Blended Rate: $58/hr
• Weekly Gross: $2,088 for 36 hours/week
• OT 41–48 hrs: $58/hr blended
• OT 48+ hrs: $72.50/hr blended

Compensation – Travelers

• Regular Rate: $31/hr
• Travel Stipend/Per Diem: $31/hr
• Total Blended Rate: $62/hr
• Weekly Gross: $2,232 for 36 hours/week
• OT 41–48 hrs: $62/hr blended
• OT 48+ hrs: $77.50/hr blended

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for psychiatric patients
• Float between Adult, Adolescent, and Stabilization units based on department needs
• Assess physical and behavioral health needs
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Perform patient admissions, monitoring, and clinical documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient safety and therapeutic care environments
• Provide ongoing patient education and support

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent/current inpatient acute psychiatric nursing experience
• Experience with Adult and Adolescent psychiatric patients preferred
• Active PA RN license for PA residents
• Compact RN license accepted for out-of-state candidates
• AHA BLS required
• CPI preferred; may be obtained upon offer
• Strong communication, assessment, and crisis-management skills
