Job Summary and Responsibilities

- Direct team activities in the OR
- Assure proper communication in OR among staff and surgeons
- Develop a perioperative nursing care plan, through assessment of patient care needs.
- Demonstrates understanding of the hospital's mission and values and their impact on nursing practices.
- Demonstrate consistent alignment with our behavior standards.
- Collaborates with other care staff to assure smooth transition for patients throughout the facility using proper hand off techniques.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse: MN
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months and
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Operating Room experience
Preferred
- Certified Nurse Operating Room
