About the Role:Star Light Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled RN Infusion Nurse (PRN) to join our dedicated team in Montrose, CO. Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, hydration, and other prescribed treatments in patients' homes
- Assess and monitor patients' responses to infusion therapy and document clinical findings accurately
- Establish and maintain peripheral and central venous access, including PICC line care and management
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion procedures, medication side effects, and home care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to coordinate and adjust patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with home health regulations
- Respond to patient concerns and troubleshoot infusion-related complications in a home setting
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1-2 years of infusion therapy or IV nursing experience preferred
- Experience with PICC lines, central venous catheters, and infusion pumps
- Home health or community nursing experience is a plus
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits in the Grand Junction area
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a home setting
