Summary
This full-time RN role involves providing direct patient care primarily in the field, such as in homes, nursing facilities, or assisted living facilities, during overnight hours from Monday through Friday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The position supports the mission of Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care by delivering high-quality, patient-centered services.
Job Description
Founded in 1982 as Joliet Area Community Hospice, Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care is an independent, nonprofit healthcare provider licensed in 11 counties in northwest Illinois. We provide exceptional serious illness care, hospice care and grief support for adults and children.
The majority of our direct patient care is in the field with Lightways team members providing care in the home, nursing facility or assisted living facility. We also have a 24-bed inpatient unit in Joliet. Non-clinical staff are based out of our Joliet administrative offices.
Join our dedicated and compassionate team in a full-time RN role, working Monday through Friday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and mission-driven environment.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three years of RN experience in home health, critical care, or long-term care. Hospice experience is preferred
