Retreat Host, Part-time

Title: Retreat Host, Part-time (25 hours a week)

Report to: Operations Manager 

Location: Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Spirituality Retreat Center, Venice FL

Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt 

Overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the OLPH Retreat Host assists with the planning, organization, and execution of private and group retreats, meetings and events.

Job Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls, greets guests, and provides information on OLPH services.
• Prepares for incoming Private and Group retreatants; serve as OLPH Host.
• Processes submitted donations and Mass Intentions and provide.
• Maintains database of constituent contact information. 
• Assists with planning and communication of OLPH events including monthly, bi-annual, and annual retreats offered by OLPH
• Provides sales assistance in the OLPH Gift Shop including completing transactions, inventorying/pricing products, and organizing displays
• Assists with other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work weekdays, holidays, and weekends
• Prefer candidate with understanding of Catholic religion
• Must pass Level II FDLE background check
