Retail Store Van Driver

Your Role...

By exhibiting exceptional teamwork, boundless curiosity, and the utmost care, the Retail Store Van Driver will assist their team to fulfill Blick’s commitment to our customers, the Arts, and our local communities. The Retail Store Van Driver will do this by transporting finished framed and unframed customer art between the seller and maker stores safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Transports framed and unframed customer artwork and other retail store related items, taking care that no damage occurs to the pieces during transit.
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintaining accurate records of trips and deliveries.
• Communicating with store management and Custom Services personnel.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good condition, including ensuring regular maintenance is performed and all vehicle documentation is up to date.
• Load and unload items into and out of the vehicle.
• When not performing driving responsibilities, this individual would be expected to assume the role and responsibilities of a sales associate. This work will include customer engagement, stock work, and the other responsibilities associated with our sales associate role.

• A valid driver’s license.
• Experience in driving non-CDL vehicles.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Availability to work flexible schedules including day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
• Regular attendance in accordance with the retail attendance policy.
• Associates in this role are scheduled an average of 15 - 25 hours per week based on availability and the needs of the business

Supervisory Responsibility:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds while using the appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules.
• Prolonged walking, standing, and climbing ladders.

Travel:

• Travel in the local area required.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

Pay Rate:

The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

• $16.50 - $18.00 per hour + Sales Incentives
