Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Retail & Shipping Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling and packaging up online orders. Boxes range in different sizes and weights, must be comfortable with lifting up to 50lbs. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to integrity. We are a Hobby, Comics and Game Store with a large online customer base and a growing in store community. We are looking for someone with experience in the industry as we have a very large variety of different products and collectibles. Expect your main duties to revolve around packaging and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process orders
- Organize and maintain inventory and stock
- Make arrangements for the arrival of incoming inventory and ensure there is adequate space to store them
- Assist with any store or customer related issues or events
- Tape up and package orders to our standards
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and internal procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Hobby, Game Store or in a similar position is preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic math and computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with reliable transportation
