Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team! As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities include working the register, stocking shelves, counting inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service - any retail industry. Experience in Jewelry industry is not required. All the training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Work on iPad / POS system to ring up and carry out customer sales.
- Take added responsibility for counting and stocking the inventory, and store maintenance.
- Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Ability to quickly and accurately work with iPads and POS system
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Willingness to work on Holidays like Diwali and Christmas and other major Indian and American holidays.
