Retail Sales Associate

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Are you passionate about retail and merchandise? Do you have an interest in skiing and snowboarding? We want to see YOU on the mountain! We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and excited for the opportunity to create guests for life This position is responsible for assisting guests in our retail outlets across the property.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Morning (AM) availability strongly preferred.
• Ability to open or close during weekdays.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• The desire to be an integral part of a growing retail team.
• The ability to provide outstanding guest service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly when working. in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• The ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong, effective written and oral communication skills.
• Weekend availability also preferred.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Engage with each guest utilizing proper greeting, sales approach and assistance and farewell as they enter and exit the retail outlet.
• Assists guests in our retail outlets throughout their visit; provides exceptional customer service and assistance with questions, item selection, and product recommendations of soft goods, hard goods, apparel, and accessories.
• Restocks equipment, supplies, and inventory as needed.
• Assists Manager, Assistant Manager and supervisors with the merchandising of retail areas, ensuring displays and fixtures are arranged in an organized, aesthetically pleasing fashion.
• Follow specified opening and closing procedures in terms of preparing store for the business day. This includes merchandise presentation, cleanliness, lighting, cash wrap area organization and dressing rooms.
• Tags and stocks newly received items quickly and accurately.
• Attends staff meetings as required.
