Retail Maintenance Specialist | Graveyard Shift

Job Details: Job Location: Santa Maria Betteravia - Santa Maria, CA, Salary Range: $19.40 - $19.40Hourly, Valley Pacific is hiring a Retail Maintenance Specialist for a 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM shift at our Santa Maria location. The ideal candidate will support facility maintenance, cleanliness, and organization. The role involves working in a quiet environment at times, but candidates must be proactive and stay productive by completing necessary tasks during downtime.
Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:

Works safely and helps others work safely.
Does his/her part in ensuring a high score on Customer First (uniform, name tag, customer interaction, smile).
Is responsible and has good attendance.
Assists station manager in maintaining appearance of station at “Customer First” level.
Effectively runs and troubleshoots all equipment located at retail stores.
Assists the station manager to ensure that customers and retail employees are not exposed to situations that are physically dangerous.
Carries out specific assignments as directed by the station manager.
Able and willing to respond to urgent or unusual situations.
Can multitask and prioritize the workday schedule.

Required Skills/Experience:

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
Experienced in running small equipment such as a power washer, blower, and weed eater
Has experience in landscaping.
Clearly communicates with station manager and co-workers.
Driven and energetic.
Personally well-liked and trusted.
Can perform job responsibilities without supervision.
Cooperative and open-minded.
