Job Title: Retail Installation Technician

Location: Nationwide

Salary: Starting Pay $30hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing and maintaining retail fixtures, signage, millwork, and flooring in commercial environments. The ideal candidate has strong carpentry skills, experience working with retail layouts, and the ability to interpret blueprints and execute high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixture Installation:

• Read, interpret, and execute layout plans from blueprints and schematics
• Assemble, modify, and relocate retail fixtures and gondola shelving
• Ensure all installations meet project specifications and safety standards

Graphics and Signage Installation:

• Apply large-format vinyl graphics, decals, and wallpaper per
• Install a variety of retail signage, including exterior signs, interior hanging signs, and wall- or fixture-mounted displays
• Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across installations

Millwork Installation:

• Install and maintain retail cabinetry and millwork
• Perform precise carpentry work, including complex miters and trim installation
• Operate carpentry tools such as miter saws, table saws, pneumatic nail guns, and standard hand tools
• Layout and construct complex wall support systems as required

Retail Flooring:

• Perform floor maintenance tasks such as stripping, conditioning, and refinishing
• Repair and install various types of retail flooring, including tile, finished concrete, LVT (luxury vinyl tile), and carpet
• Ensure flooring work meets durability and aesthetic standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail installation, carpentry, or a related field
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and installation techniques
• Experience working with retail environments and timelines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Comfortable working on ladders and in physically demanding environments
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed

• The ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours at a time
• An ability to take direction and work within a team, large or smallAn ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
