Job Title: Flexible - Retail Field , POS & Network Technicians          

Department: Service Tech US          

Reports to: Territory Manager

FLSA Status (exempt/non-exempt): Non-Exempt

Flexible Field , POS &  Network technicians encouraged to apply -  handle implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access point, router, switches, pos systems, printers, and modems. Set up and troubleshoot connections in many different environments and connect them with physical cables or wireless frequencies, creating adequate signal strength throughout a location for a client's use. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT, POS, FIELD or Related technical technician experience is required.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Smart Phone mobile device.
• Flexible availability.
• Frequent use of hand tools.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.
• Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.
• Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.

• Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Aptitude for customer support.

Required Education and Experience

• Over the age of 18.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• All training is provided.

• Travel is required.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds on occasion.
• Reaching above head for items.
• Ability to use a computer and telephone system.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead.
• POS experience is a plus.
