Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service
Transport, clean and maintain all cooking utensils, pots and pans and service ware, maintaining dishwashing area in conjunction with service staff and management in order to provide cooks, bussers and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests’ dining experience
Maintain, clean, and keep organized all Food and Beverage operational facilities areas, including service equipment, coolers, freezer, dry pantry food storage areas, and storage facilities
Follow all safety standards about food handling and the policies and protocols for proper rotation of food products received and used
Ensure that proper chemicals are applied within all food handling areas to include the dishwasher and three-compartment sinks
Maintain all testing supplies to ensure sanitary conditions exist during normal operation
Fulfill the above functions in all Food and Beverage operational venues and outlets
Accept and properly inventory all Food and Beverage deliveries, for example produce, meats, groceries, and paper products
Transport and properly dispose of all garbage to dumpsters or compactor. Clean and maintain trash receptacles and transportation carts and dollies
Promptly and carefully sort soiled service ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly; quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas as designated. Physical strength and stamina are essential due to the high activity level
Operate dishwashing machine to ensure proper finish on silverware; clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans promptly and completely so cooks can carry out their work; keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per Apache Casino Hotel standards; de-tarnish/polish silver for proper appearance
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard Apache Casino Hotel cleaning products; clean up unexpected spills, clean and dry floors to prevent slip/fall accidents, separate linen from other debris
Move supplies and equipment
Perform daily tasks including preparation of food products as directed and assigned by Food and Beverage management and culinary management team members
Advise Food & Beverage Management of any safety hazards and/or violations to insure prompt remedy
Report any suspicious persons or activity to a supervisor immediately
Perform other duties as requested by your reporting supervisor, including cross-training
Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
Regular attendance is required.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/casino industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of Apache Casino Hotel- days, evenings, graveyards, holidays and/or weekends. We are busiest during weekends and holidays, events, and peak seasons as they occur. There is a reasonable expectation you will be scheduled on duty and/or “on-call” during any of these times.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential job functions.
While performing job duties the team member may occasionally sit, and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The team member is required to stand for prolonged periods, may work in confined spaces in extreme temperatures, walk, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member may occasionally grasp, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds and transport heavy objects through a crowded room. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The team member will be exposed to various foods and chemicals as well as latex. While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.
At a minimum, the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test. Following hire, the team member will be required to obtain a local food handler permit.
General Sign-Off:

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
A combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, with a high school diploma or GED preferred
No prior experience required but prior hospitality experience preferred
Ability to listen effectively and to read, write, and speaks English to comprehend and communicate job functions, comprehend job requests and to read Material Safety Data Sheets and similar written materials
