Respiratory Therapist

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, oxygen levels, and physical examination findings.
• Conduct Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Function Testing, In-home Respiratory Care Assessments and Durable Medical equipment setups. 
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine the need for respiratory interventions; monitor responses to treatments and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, medication administration, and vital signs in compliance with policies.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist from the appropriate state licensing board. We are open to both CRT and RRT.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Experience working in acute care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pulmonology concepts, medication administration protocols, and medical terminology relevant to respiratory therapy.
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately while maintaining a compassionate approach for geriatrics, and diverse patient populations.
